An Evergreen Colorado Addition
In the foothills of Evergreen, Colorado, our clients want to take advantage of the beautiful scenery while adding square footage to their home with an addition off of the walk-out basement. The new space includes a family room, bedroom, and office. The addition will house a woodshop for the avid woodworkers in the family with a roof deck above that connects to the renovated family room, featuring large-format windows to capture the views.
“We utilized the roof of the workshop to create an outdoor living space that is accessed from the basement addition,” explains architect Chris Fuller who designed the project. “The house is located on top of a hill on about five acres of land, with great views of the mountains and plains around Denver.”
The before image below shows where the addition and renovation will expand the footprint of the property.
