Listen. Interpret. Design.
The architecture and interiors team at Helios Design Group specializes in transforming residential spaces. We bring years of expertise and design acumen to our clients’ projects, including new construction, renovations, and additions, with award-winning results in kitchens and baths. Our work includes commercial and hospitality projects, with expertise designing breweries and tap rooms. We collaborate with builders, landscape architects and specialty contractors to satisfy your project requirements.
The steps to get the results you want.
1. INITIAL CONSULTATION
We meet with you to discuss your building or site, what you hope to accomplish, your constraints, and your dreams. We learn about who you are, what's important to you, and tell you a bit about who we are.
2. FEASIBILITY PLANNING
The next step is discovering the feasibility of your vision and our proposed design solutions. We'll review codes and regulations, particularly zoning, which may impact the project, make drawings of the existing conditions, and set to work sketching ideas.
3. SCOPE & DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
In this step we spend a lot of time in conversation with you as the design develops, using words, sketches, images, and architectural renderings to help convey ideas and options. Our design includes everything from foundations to furnishings, including that heirloom piece handed down to you.
Then we present the best custom designs that create the space you’ve always wanted. For our commercial clients, we develop the designs that fit the requirements for your business.
4. FINAL DESIGN APPROVAL & CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
Once we’ve settled on a final design with your approval, we refine the details and compose construction documents for the next phase of your project.
5. ONGOING SUPPORT
Our on-going participation in your project ensures the integrity of the custom design and allows for problem-solving or changes along the way. We collaborate with your selected builder – and recommend preferred contractors – until the completion of your project.
Think of our team as your team.
