Carol spent time in her youth dancing, writing, making art, and enjoying the waves on Venice Beach in California. She was doing ceramics when she discovered architecture, with so many of the same concerns at a larger scale - form, function, beauty, inside and outside. Carol studied architecture at the University of Southern California, and has worked for several architectural firms doing residential and institutional projects. In her twenty years of experience in architecture, she’s come to love solving puzzles, architectural and other, and helping folks to make their dreams real. Carol has come out of retirement to work part-time again with the HDG team. When not at work, Carol usually has her nose in a book, or her rear on a meditation cushion.
