Helios Design Group Announces Expansion to Denver; Chris Fuller AIA to Lead Office

Chris Hosford, HDG Principal, made the announcement. "Denver is a vibrant city with a dynamic culture experiencing a building boom," said Hosford. "With HDG’s core focus on giving new life to existing residences and buildings, the firm is ideally suited for expanding into the Denver market," he added.

Fuller holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design Studies from The Boston Architectural College. He is a licensed Architect in Colorado and Maryland, and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He started his architecture career at Helios Design Group in 2009 before moving to Denver in 2014, where he worked in multi-family architecture and construction. He always felt a connection with single family design, and loves the collaborative nature of working with homeowners.

“I enjoy designing the best possible spaces for clients and helping to bring their ideas to life. Working with someone who will actually live and occupy the house is so much more rewarding than working for a large developer who will never actually live in the apartments they are building,” Fuller said.

Fuller collaborated with Chris Hosford and HDG even after moving to Denver, so it felt natural for him to come back to HDG and expand their practice to Denver. In addition to his design work, Fuller recently volunteered with Food for Thought, a non-profit that helps provide weekend food for Denver Public School students, and as a bike mechanic with Bikes Together, a non-profit that provides cycling education, camps, and more for elementary and middle school aged kids.
